This next guy has two planets in Gemini and one in Virgo.
Speaker A:Ghostface Killer.
Speaker B:I was just telling you the other day, like, Ghost Face is one of those honorable mention guys who could easily be in the top five.
Speaker B:And the same things I said about when somebody's hot, people listen to him, but then they don't listen to the stuff that they put out later.
Speaker B:He's one of those guys, like, he puts out two or three projects every year, and I'm sure 90 listen to Hip hop.
Speaker B:Never even listen to it or never even know that it's coming out.
Speaker B:But I listen to all of it.
Speaker B:And he, like, you talk about storytellers.
Speaker B:Ghostface may be the best storyteller ever on the mic because he makes complete albums with 7, 8, 9, 10 songs on them where each song is a chapter in a story.
Speaker B:Who does that?
Speaker B:Do you know of any other MC that has been able to do a whole album where the whole album is like a movie?
Speaker B:Like, even if you don't like the beat, you have to listen to the song so that you can follow the story.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:Nah, I can't.
Speaker B:Ghost.
Speaker A:Old dirty bastard has three planets in Virgo.
Speaker B:ODB.
Speaker B:ODB.
Speaker B:He was never one of my favorite MCs.
Speaker B:He was very, very different, though, and unique.
Speaker B:And maybe that's one reason that I couldn't get with him.
Speaker B:It was the whole.
Speaker A:Kind of like.
Speaker A:Kind of like Busta Rhymes.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:Exactly, exactly.
Speaker B:So as you can see, I got a certain style of MC that I tend to like, and he kind of fell outside of that.
Speaker B:That doesn't mean that I didn't respect him as an emcee, but, like, he wasn't one of my favorites.
Speaker B:Like, I wouldn't pop in ODB CD and just jam to it, but I respect his talent.
Speaker A:Daz Dillinger has four planets in Gemini.
Speaker B:Dude, I fuck with Daz.
Speaker B:I love Daz.
Speaker B:His beats along with his vocal tone.
Speaker B:That's the thing about him.
Speaker B:Like, he's a good lyricist, but the energy that he brings to a song makes you like the song along with the beat.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I really, really, really fuck with Daz.
Speaker A:Wiz Khalifa has three planets in Virgo.
Speaker B:Wiz.
Speaker B:I like Wiz.
Speaker B:He's like a young snoop.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:He's just cool with it.
Speaker A:He might be in my book.
Speaker A:I might put him as a young red man.
Speaker B:Young red man.
Speaker A:See the weed.
Speaker B:But I mean, I mean, be honest with you.
Speaker A:First time I ever knew about a Blunt was from Redman.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:When Redman first came out, that's when we started smoking blunts.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:But, like, just because of the lyrical content, like, that energy is not the same to me.
Speaker B:His energy is more like Snoop energy, laid back, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Smoking and vibing on.
Speaker B:On a beat, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:Where Red man was before Snoop, wasn't he.
Speaker B:He was, but Redman's energy was.
Speaker B:No, no, he wasn't.
Speaker A:Yes, he was.
Speaker B:Snoop was 90, like, 91, man.
Speaker A:He was at the.
Speaker B:Red man was like 92.
Speaker A:He was at the dorms.
Speaker A:When.
Speaker A:When Redman came out,.
Speaker B:I was smoking to.
Speaker B:We was on South White when Redman came out.
Speaker B:We was on South White when Redman came out.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:I'm positive.
Speaker B:I mean, that's back when I was making all.
Speaker B:You know, I had all the CDs, bruh.
Speaker B:So when Redman came out.
Speaker B:Cause you know who put us up on Redman was Kevin Hazel.
Speaker B:Oh, all right.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And he was from the.
Speaker A:Wasn't he?
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker A:The last two people I want to mention are for the ladies and the.
Speaker A:Think about it.
Speaker A:We haven't spoken about any females tonight.
Speaker A:Yeah, so.
Speaker B:So I was thinking about that.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So I'm the last two.
Speaker A:I'm gonna end with females.
Speaker A:Lil Kim, her mercury's in Gemini.
Speaker B:Lil Kim was vicious.
Speaker B:Like, she was.
Speaker B:She was like a dude rhyming, but from a chick perspective, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And it's funny, you know what I think about, like, now that I got a daughter and all of this shit.
Speaker B:Like, I think about, like, how we listen to too short.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And it was like, ah, yeah, too short.
Speaker B:But then when we listen to Lil Kim be like, damn, she a hoe.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:Hey, do you remember her album cover that them posted?
Speaker B:Yeah, that's what I mean.
Speaker B:That right there.
Speaker B:If you can't deny the double standard.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:When you look at her, at a man's reaction to her, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And then you look at a man's reaction to too short.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like, for sure, he was like our hero.
Speaker B:And then she come out saying the same, but from a female perspective, and she was like, our here ho.
Speaker A:It's funny.
Speaker A:It's funny that you brought him up because that's probably one of my favorite songs that she ever did the song with him.
Speaker B:We're too short.
Speaker A:You're too short.
Speaker B:It is definitely mine, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Must have hold up, the rubber still rolled up, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Oh, she said, I'mma slip myself a Mickey.
Speaker A:And the last person of the night we going to end with has a Gemini son.
Speaker A:And her Mercury's in Gemini.
Speaker A:Lauryn Hill.
Speaker B:Lauryn Hill is my number one femc.
Speaker B:Number one hands down.
Speaker B:She's like a female Nas, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:But more talented.
Speaker B:Like, she got the singing aspect that just blows everybody else out the water.
Speaker B:Like, I would put her up against any dude mc.
Speaker B:There's only a couple people that I would do that with, and she's one of them.
Speaker B:And I think she would excel against any dude, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Her lyrical, her voice, her choice of music, and then the fact that she can sing.
Speaker B:She is my top female mc, because just like I said about my other top male MCs is the fact that she has so much substance in what she's talking about.
Speaker A:I have a question for you.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker A:Where does she come in on the list of your top 10?
Speaker A:Well, is she in the.
Speaker B:See, can you put it in a.
Speaker A:List with the males?
Speaker B:That's the thing.
Speaker B:That's what I'm getting to like having this conversation now.
Speaker B:It made me realize that I really didn't have any top 10, any females in my top 10.
Speaker B:But she definitely could be.
Speaker B:I think she could hang.
Speaker B:But, you know, as I say, with her, it would come down to she would run out of songs if she went song for song with a lot of the guys in my top five.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:Yeah, she's definitely as talented as any of them.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:You know what?
Speaker B:I would have loved to see Bruh song with Lauryn Hill and Pac.
Speaker B:That would be cold.
Speaker B:Keep your head up, too.
Speaker A:Yeah, she.
Speaker A:She.
Speaker A:Lauryn Hill really is.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Lauryn Hill.
Speaker B:Yeah, she definitely.
Speaker A:Yeah, she.
Speaker A:She really represents the women well.
Speaker A:Yeah, when she got that Marley dude, I don't know what happened to her, but.
Speaker B:Crazy.
Speaker B:But she.
Speaker B:She's.
Speaker B:Is she a Gemini?
Speaker B:Yeah, she had.
Speaker A:Well, she has.
Speaker A:Her son is in the Gemini.
Speaker B:No, so she's.
Speaker B:Yeah, she's Gemini or not, bro.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah, she's a Gemini in her mind or the way she think is in Gemini.
Speaker B:No, but like her birthday.
Speaker A:Yeah, that's what I said.
Speaker B:She's Gemini.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:Because as a Gemini, you really, like, in a relationship you get really attached to a person.
Speaker B:It's borderline crazy, I'll admit it.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Borderline crazy.
Speaker B:And I could see why her being a Gemini, because not only did I think it was Damian Marley or whichever Marley, she wasn't a Marley.
Speaker B:Not only was she really emotional about him, but Wyclef too, when they were together, you know, that was a secret, too.
Speaker B:That really fucked her up, too, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:And then she went right from him to this Marley dude.
Speaker B:And then after that, she was just gone.
Speaker B:Huh.
Speaker A:Well, is there anything else you would want to add about this topic, about what we spoke about rappers before we close it up?
Speaker B:It's just real interesting how, you know, the.
Speaker B:Your astrological signs feed into your art.
Speaker B:You know what I mean?
Speaker A:Well, astrology is energy, is energy expression.
Speaker A:And people don't realize that.
Speaker A:And that's why I say, always know thyself and balance your energy.
Speaker A:Because you.
Speaker A:Once you learn the energy expression, then you could actually play to it instead of playing against it.
Speaker A:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:Kind of like reading an owner's manual.
Speaker B:What do you mean?
Speaker A:Well, when you buy something, it always comes with an owner's manual.
Speaker A:That's what astrology is, your owner's manual.
Speaker B:For your mind, for your life.
Speaker B:Really?
Speaker A:Yeah.
