Speaker A:

It's funny you said use four elements because that is the basis of astrology and this is a astrology show.

Speaker A:

So, Deuce, welcome to I Am Astrology podcast and let's begin.

Speaker A:

Thank you, my brother.

Speaker A:

The last show, Born the Right, I talked about the famous author who wrote Gone with the Wind, Margaret Mitchell.

Speaker A:

I want to stay on the theme of writers, but different type of writers this time.

Speaker A:

I pointed out the influence of Gemini energy in Margaret's chart, which was good for short essays, and Sagittarius energy, which is built for more long stories.

Speaker A:

Margaret also had a was a Virgo rising, which means Mercury was the ruler of her chart.

Speaker A:

Which gets me to today's topic.

Speaker A:

Mercury.

Speaker A:

Mercury was known as Hermes, the Twinkling one, the messenger of God.

Speaker A:

A wide range of things can fall under Mercury's significations, but I'm just going to name a few that relates to this show.

Speaker A:

Education, writings, speech interpretation, messages, following contests, sending messages, hearing critical thinking, properly speaking, teachers, orators, philosophers, musicians, dream interpreters, strong performers making livelihood from display.

Speaker A:

I think you're maybe starting to see where I'm going with this.

Speaker A:

Mercury is the closest planet to the sun.

Speaker A:

Think about an old mob boss.

Speaker A:

Only one person gets to speak to the boss and the boss speaks to that one person.

Speaker A:

That person lets everyone know what the boss wants done.

Speaker A:

Mercury will be that go between person from the boss who speaks and the person who relays the boss's message.

Speaker A:

Being the closest to the sun, you can see why he is the messenger.

Speaker A:

Mercury rules two signs, Gemini and Virgo.

Speaker A:

Gemini is a masculine mutable air sign.

Speaker A:

Virgo on the other hand, is feminine mutable earth sign.

Speaker A:

I'm telling you all this.

Speaker A:

Everything has a yin and a yang.

Speaker A:

It even goes as deep as planetary expression of Mercury.

Speaker A:

When thinking masculine, feminine.

Speaker A:

An easy way to understand the concept.

Speaker A:

Males give, females receive Fire and air are male.

Speaker A:

Earth and water are female.

Speaker A:

Today we are focused on Mercury.

Speaker A:

People, rappers,.

PAUL HEATH

I am Paul. When I reflect back on my life, I was always interested in astrology. I would read my daily horoscope in the newspaper every day and often wonder, “how do they know?”
One day I was told I am a “cusp of beauty”, because my birthday was the last day of Virgo. I went home to research what cusp of beauty meant. My curiosity soared when finding out the meaning. I didn’t realize that I had just begun the journey of “Know Thyself.”
Learning how to read my natal chart I acquired the skills to assist others with deciphering their own chart-energy. Astrology has helped me understand and accept me for who I am. Although still work in progress, knowing about myself is surely making the process easier. I enjoy helping others (Virgo Sun) with the information I have gathered (Gemini Rising) that will help transform lives (Scorpio Moon) in a positive way.
I look forward to meeting and working with you as we embark on your journey.
