Dissecting History: The Path to Personal Growth and Knowledge Acquisition

Published on: 19th April, 2026

The discussion unfolds as the speakers delve into the profound concept of personal growth and the transformative power of knowledge. They articulate that the journey of life inherently leads to evolution, emphasizing that individuals are seldom the same as they were a decade or two ago. This evolution allows one to reflect upon past experiences, extracting valuable lessons that contribute to their present understanding. The notion that true growth is characterized by the ability to learn from past mistakes without repeating them is underscored, highlighting that knowledge becomes a form of empowerment. The speakers further elaborate on the idea that knowledge, akin to a secure investment, cannot be seized or diminished by external forces. It remains an indelible part of one’s consciousness, impervious to theft or loss, which positions it as a cornerstone of personal resilience. This dialogue serves as a reminder that self-awareness and the cultivation of wisdom through learning are essential for navigating life’s complexities.

Takeaways:

  • The ability to analyze historical events and personal experiences is a hallmark of personal growth.
  • True growth signifies an evolution from past experiences, particularly those that were negative or challenging.
  • Knowledge is an invaluable asset that cannot be forcibly removed from an individual once acquired.
  • Wisdom is acquired through a lifetime of attentive listening rather than excessive speaking during conversations.
  • Understanding one’s biases and preconceptions is crucial for effective communication and comprehension.
  • Patience is essential when navigating conflicts, as they may not be directly related to oneself.

Speaker A:

What else you want?

Speaker A:

Anything else where you want to go?

Speaker B:

Nothing I wanted to say, which actually goes back to what you had were just saying about viewing history and analyzing things with learning.

Speaker B:

That's growth.

Speaker B:

When you're able to do that, when you have that ability to do that.

Speaker B:

But again, it comes back to someone that is able to stand in their own truth or as some say, know thyself, balance thy energy.

Speaker A:

Real quick, what did you think about that theory of changing your perception and looking back in history at things that happened to events that happened to you?

Speaker A:

Do you think that somebody.

Speaker A:

You think that's plausible?

Speaker A:

Plausible.

Speaker A:

What did you think about that theory?

Speaker B:

It's definitely feasible to do because hopefully through life we grow and evolve and none of us, we're the same people now that we were 10, 15, 20 years ago because we've grown and evolved.

Speaker B:

So you're able to dissect a scenario or situation and extrapolate information or a lesson from that and apply it.

Speaker B:

A lot of people.

Speaker B:

Because a lot of people.

Speaker B:

And true growth is not repeating the past.

Speaker B:

If it was something bad that occurred or a bad decision, a bad choice, a bad environment, you've grown and evolved from that and raised yourself by the bootstraps.

Speaker B:

Out of that you've elevated.

Speaker B:

So you have learned and acquired knowledge, which we were speaking about earlier.

Speaker B:

Knowledge being power.

Speaker B:

The power not to allow yourself to lower your vibration frequency and revert back to a prior time in your life when you were in a lesser situation or environment.

Speaker A:

Got another one of these throwaway quotes.

Speaker A:

An investment in knowledge pays the best that.

Speaker C:

One more time please.

Speaker A:

And an investment in knowledge pays the best.

Speaker C:

Investment in knowledge investment.

Speaker C:

Hey, yeah, elaborate on that.

Speaker A:

What if you looked at knowledge as a bank account can't be robbed or can't nobody take that from you can't Rafiki.

Speaker A:

No stick up man can come behind you and say, stick them up.

Speaker A:

Hand me over all your knowledge.

Speaker C:

I would have to beg the difference.

Speaker C:

And here's the reason why I say one will have to beg the difference.

Speaker C:

You got these psychiatrists that are out here that are suppressing people's memories.

Speaker C:

This is the knowledge that they have.

Speaker C:

You got people out here that are literally living in fear because of said whatever is after them through their knowledge.

Speaker C:

So one could argue and say that, yeah, that knowledge can be paid, probably paid off and robbed and stolen.

Speaker C:

You could go out through history and you can see erasures here and there.

Speaker C:

And you can see where it can be robbed,.

Speaker A:

Rafiki.

Speaker A:

You can, yes, you could rob a library, but you could Rob books, you can even burn books.

Speaker A:

But nobody can take the knowledge out of your brain.

Speaker A:

And that's what it means.

Speaker A:

Yes, you could bring up these other examples, but the example I'm using and talking about is somebody can walk up to you with a gun you and demand your wallet, demand your phone, demand your jewelry, watch and all your clothes.

Speaker A:

But if they demand you to hand them your knowledge, you can't do it.

Speaker A:

That's the point.

Speaker A:

They can't get it unless they torture you, waterboard you, and you just talk, start talking.

Speaker A:

But even at that point, they'll never get all your knowledge.

Speaker A:

They only get the questions that they asked.

Speaker A:

Tara,.

Speaker B:

You would send.

Speaker B:

Knowledge is an investment that pays the best.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Another thing I was going to say, which would follow that or be in conjunction with that.

Speaker B:

Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening rather than speaking.

Speaker A:

Want me to give you another example, Rafiki?

Speaker A:

And we've heard this, and we've heard this saying hundreds of times.

Speaker A:

If you give a man a fish, you feed him for that day.

Speaker A:

If you teaching manafish, you're feeding for the lifetime.

Speaker A:

So having the knowledge of how to fish, you're richer than that person that doesn't know how.

Speaker A:

Speaking when it comes to survival out in the wilderness, I might be bankrupt and you may be Charlie Daddy Warbucks.

Speaker A:

Can you tell me, rafiki, hey, I could drop you anywhere.

Speaker A:

And you know how to survive off the land.

Speaker A:

So if, so if, if we did that, at that moment, Rafiki, are you richer than me?

Speaker A:

If me and you standing in the.

Speaker C:

Forest see what you're saying.

Speaker C:

But what I'm.

Speaker C:

Where I was going with what I was trying to say was this right here.

Speaker C:

You got doctors that do suppress people's memory.

Speaker A:

I got what you.

Speaker A:

I. I got what you.

Speaker A:

I got what you were saying.

Speaker A:

But.

Speaker A:

But in all actuality, Rafiki, you went off point, not me.

Speaker C:

It's not that I went off point.

Speaker C:

I just wanted to express that part.

Speaker A:

Because I got you.

Speaker A:

I got you.

Speaker A:

I got you.

Speaker A:

I got you.

Speaker A:

We all know you got a beef with psychiatrists and therapists.

Speaker A:

But hey, watch this.

Speaker A:

I can take your scenario and flip it on you.

Speaker A:

Watch this, Rafiki.

Speaker A:

If some people have some knowledge, do you think they have to go to a therapist?

Speaker A:

If they start working on they self and schooling they self up and all of that, would they have to go to the therapist and get raped?

Speaker C:

Hence why mental has basically said that it's really called the rapist.

Speaker A:

All right?

Speaker C:

I mean, because why they're in it to rape Your pocket.

Speaker A:

Hey, don't bring Mental into your.

Speaker A:

Your mental regular role.

Speaker A:

Mental want to get into your mix?

Speaker A:

He would have jumped on in.

Speaker A:

Don't be pulling him into your cesspool.

Speaker A:

Cesspool Rafiki.

Speaker A:

Come on, now.

Speaker C:

But you see where I'm going with this.

Speaker A:

Yeah, I see, man.

Speaker A:

I see, man.

Speaker A:

I. I'm.

Speaker A:

I'm telling you, I understand, but I just didn't want to get sidetracked, man.

Speaker A:

All right, Tara, back to you.

Speaker B:

More big thing here.

Speaker B:

Silence.

Speaker B:

It is easier to absorb what is and is not being communicated because there are issues below the surface that you cannot hear or see.

Speaker B:

Also, people really should be aware of their own preconceptions or biases.

Speaker B:

And if people are paying attention to this podcast and listening and hearing it.

Speaker B:

Mental Reset brought this up in the very beginning when he was referencing etymology.

Speaker B:

He talked about preconceptions and biases.

Speaker B:

So he brought this up in the very beginning about being aware of your own preconceptions and biases and not applying that to the person speaking, because then things perhaps become misconstrued.

Speaker B:

Perhaps there's a commonality.

Speaker B:

You find common ground also.

Speaker B:

And we have to remember to utilize patience.

Speaker B:

And another big thing quite a few people will appreciate.

Speaker B:

Try to consider that the conflict may not be about you.

Speaker B:

Well, many times like to interject themselves into what someone's speaking about and make it all about themselves when the variables are different in that equation.

Speaker B:

So they at times try to overpower or turn the situation, scenario, or the topic and make it about them, which we have all witnessed numerous occasions.

Speaker B:

It's not always about you sit back and observe, which there have been other podcasts about that Paul has done about being the observer.

PAUL HEATH

I am Paul. When I reflect back on my life, I was always interested in astrology. I would read my daily horoscope in the newspaper every day and often wonder, “how do they know?”
One day I was told I am a “cusp of beauty”, because my birthday was the last day of Virgo. I went home to research what cusp of beauty meant. My curiosity soared when finding out the meaning. I didn’t realize that I had just begun the journey of “Know Thyself.”
Learning how to read my natal chart I acquired the skills to assist others with deciphering their own chart-energy. Astrology has helped me understand and accept me for who I am. Although still work in progress, knowing about myself is surely making the process easier. I enjoy helping others (Virgo Sun) with the information I have gathered (Gemini Rising) that will help transform lives (Scorpio Moon) in a positive way.
I look forward to meeting and working with you as we embark on your journey.
