Confronting Misunderstandings: A Journey of Accountability
The central theme of this discourse revolves around personal accountability and the growth that arises from introspection. I recount a recent incident involving a group of friends from my college days, wherein a seemingly innocuous comment ignited a moment of self-reflection and subsequent realization of my own fault. Initially, I allowed my emotions to dictate my response, viewing the observation made by a friend as an affront to my character. However, upon further contemplation, I acknowledged that the comments were not meant to belittle but rather to elicit a response during a period of personal upheaval, particularly as I navigated my first House Annual Perfection year. This experience has prompted me to consider profound questions regarding the balance between happiness and material success, a contemplation that I find particularly relevant as I transition into my second House Perfection year, which emphasizes values and security.
Takeaways:
- The group of friends I ran with in college remains connected even after three decades.
- Admitting when one is wrong is a sign of mental and emotional security and growth.
- The comments made by friends can impact one's emotional state, particularly during sensitive times.
- Understanding astrological perfection years can provide insight into personal development and growth.
- The transition from the first house to the second house perfection year brings new themes to explore.
- The relationship between happiness and financial success is a complex and thought-provoking issue.

To begin with, I have a group of friends I ran with in college.
Speaker A:We all used to meet up for the 2 o' clock session.
Speaker A:Fast forward 30 years that same group of friends would meet up.
Speaker A:Now via group text, I had an issue pop up this summer that I took offense with.
Speaker A:One of the members words went back and forth.
Speaker A:It's cool now, but under further review, I was the one at fault.
Speaker A:They say it takes a mentally and emotionally secure person to admit when they are wrong.
Speaker A:I was wrong and I'm big enough to come on here and say money, Mr. West, you were right, I was wrong.
Speaker A:I took his words as an insult.
Speaker A:We already pieced it up, but recent events brought all that back to my attention.
Speaker A:What was the words that led to the verbal battle?
Speaker A:I sent a picture of myself to the group who I forgot likes to tell jokes.
Speaker A:I really wasn't in a joking space at the time.
Speaker A:He said, you look like you checked out and you're off the grid somewhere.
Speaker A:Yes, I know you may be thinking that's nothing to get upset over, right?
Speaker A:Well, when you own a first House Annual Perfection year, you may understand why I got upset.
Speaker A:To understand, you need to know what Perfections year is.
Speaker A:The simple definition is an annual advancing.
Speaker A:From the day you're born, you advance or progress every year.
Speaker A:How are you handling that advancement?
Speaker A:That's another story.
Speaker A:Your son progresses one degree a year while that is taking place.
Speaker A:The topics or houses of your life advance one house or sign as well.
Speaker A:Just knowing someone's age, you could know a general topic or theme for that person that year.
Speaker A:At the time of the comment, I was on the first House Perfection year.
Speaker A:The first house is the I Am house, the house of the self.
Speaker A:I was in rebuild mode while someone was throwing stones from the nosebleed seats at my glass house.
Speaker A:I took his comments like I said fuck it, I give up.
Speaker A:Which I didn't.
Speaker A:I actually got to work.
Speaker A:I have to admit, the picture did appear as if I had been on a mountain chilling in a cave for a few weeks.
Speaker A:I did go into a cave.
Speaker A:Not physically, but during the beginning of COVID I sat in my cave at home working.
Speaker A:I even told you guys about it on episode 12, level up.
Speaker A:I said on that episode you should use this time to level yourself up to be in a different space coming out of COVID It may not look pretty, hence the comments, but if done right can lead to shocking results.
Speaker A:My first house year is over now.
Speaker A:And now I've moved on to the second house Perfection year.
Speaker A:The second house in astrology covers the topics of values and security systems.
Speaker A:Those topics will come to the forefront for me this current year.
Speaker A:Two other comments were made to me this week which left me pondering for days.
Speaker A:The first comment was made by a millionaire who looked at me and said, the reason you're not a millionaire is because you chose happiness.
Speaker A:This was a profound statement to me.
Speaker A:Left me thinking for days.
Speaker A:Is it possible to have money and happiness at the same time?
